Refund Policy

This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to purchases of paid subscriptions or digital access to VidScout ("VidScout," "we," "us," or "our"), a service operated by eco sal su through https://www.vidscout.app (the "Service"). By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Nature of the Service

VidScout is a digital software-as-a-service ("SaaS") product. Access is delivered electronically, and features may depend on third-party APIs (including YouTube-related APIs). Fees generally reflect immediate or ongoing access to software functionality rather than shipment of physical goods.

2. Refund eligibility (digital SaaS)

Due to the nature of digital SaaS, a full refund of the amount paid for the applicable subscription period may be granted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Your refund request is submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the relevant payment; and
  • You have no record of use of the Service APIs (including, without limitation, YouTube search, channel analysis, or other metered API-backed features attributable to your account) during the period for which a refund is requested.

For clarity, if your account has consumed API-backed functionality or otherwise triggered usage that we log as Service/API usage, you may not be eligible for a full refund under this Section, subject to applicable mandatory consumer rights.

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact us at the customer support email address shown at the end of this Policy. Include your account email, transaction or invoice reference (if available), and the date of payment. We will verify eligibility, including whether API usage has occurred, and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or billing settings (or by contacting support). Upon cancellation, you will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles. Your paid plan benefits (for example, Pro-tier features) will generally remain available until the end of the then-current prepaid period, after which your account will move to the applicable free or lower tier unless you renew or upgrade.

5. Partial periods and fees

Unless otherwise required by law, we do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time within a billing period after the fourteen (14) day window described above, except where we determine a refund is appropriate for operational or goodwill reasons.

6. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend access to the Service pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concern.

7. Non-waivable rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country or region.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised Policy will be posted on the Service with an updated "Last updated" date.
